    Internal examination is one of the most effective ways to assess pelvic floor muscles, but it is never mandatory. If internal work isn’t your preference, we can absolutely treat the pelvic floor and surrounding systems with external techniques, movement, and breath-based strategies.

  • Yes! Pelvic floor dysfunction affects people of all genders, and we treat everyone — including men with pelvic pain, urinary issues, and bowel dysfunction.

  • Absolutely. Menstruation does not change what we can assess or treat. If you’d prefer to skip internal work during your cycle, that’s always your choice.

  • Most people start feeling improvements within a few sessions. Frequency and duration depend on your goals, symptoms, and how long the issue has been present. Many patients attend weekly or biweekly before tapering to less frequent visits as symptoms improve.
